In 2011, my sister and I agreed to run our first marathon together (Disney Marathon). I had no idea what to expect on race day, but once I crossed the finish line I knew that this would not be my last marathon. It didn’t hurt that I had just run in a particularly fun location!

Since then, my runners high has carried me through 19 more marathons, one ultra marathon, and many more half marathons. I have found that, much like anyone else, my life has been filled with many highs and lows, but running has always been there for me. Each race has been its own unique experience, and I learned a lot from each race. Stay tuned for more marathon and half marathon recaps!

    1. Hey there- how is training for Wineglass going? So far so good for me, although the hot summer weather makes training a bit difficult! Hope it’s going well for you! Keep me posted :)

  3. Check out the Asheville Marathon in North Carolina. It is held on the Biltmore Estate… AMAZING. Your Instagram pics are beautiful and I happened upon your blog via IG. Good luck in Boston in a few weeks!!
